Happy New Year from Jax of All
First and foremost, Happy New Year to our Jax of All community! We hope that you enjoyed a restful holiday spending time with loved ones and doing all the things that fill your cup. We have some big things in the works that we can’t wait to share with all of you this year.
Last year was our second full year as a business, and we continue to evolve and grow each day. Huge thank you to everyone who has supported us and our mission of creating a community of lifelong learning. For us, 2022 was all about developing consistency as a brand, and as a collection of humans who all have human things happening in our day-to-day lives that sometimes pull us away from building Jax of All into everything we dream it can be.
As a quick recap of our year, in 2022 we:
Registered in Virginia at the beginning of the year following Michael and Hannah’s return to the East Coast
Ran 4 limited merch runs featuring the ‘Play Your Hand’ shirt design using our new Bonfire platform (we still have other merch available on both Bonfire and our website store if you missed out!)
Tabled at our first community event in Fredericksburg, VA
Created lots of Reels content (s/o to Hannah for all her hard work on this front), increasing our page reach by over 4k%!!!
Started - and continue to host - our weekly Amateur Hour accountability space on Discord where our community can meet every Sunday at 10a PST/ 1p EST to put in work on our individual hobbies & interests
As we approach our 3rd anniversary, our theme for 2023 is “established.” We’re leaving our infancy as a company behind and setting out to establish a product and service offering that is authentic to the Jax of All mission, credibly backed, and scalable. We’ll continue to build on our 2022 gains with more variety of content (yes, the Podcast IS happening), more opportunities to connect as a community both online and offline, and more ways to support and encourage lifelong learning!
